A real treat for Bavarian ice hockey fans, on December 26 and 28 the EHC Red Bull Munich will play two regular DEL (top tier of professional German ice hockey) season matches at the 10.000 capacity Olympiahalle (Spiridon-Louis-Ring 21, 80809 Munich). Some tickets (the bit more expensive ones) for both matchdays of the “Hockey Halleluja” are still available at prices starting at 18 euros. You can get yours from Muenchenticket.de.
On Saturday, December 26, the Red Bulls will play against fellow Bavarian team Augsburg Panthers, while on Monday, December 28, you can see the Bulls play against the DEL’s record Champions, the Eisbären (Polar Bears) Berlin.
Besides the events being great entertainment on Boxing Day, they are important for the Red Bulls from a sports perspective. Don Jackson’s team currently sits at 2 of the League, and has a chance of reaching the top spot ahead of the playoffs.
