Paul Kalkbrenner at the Zenith, January 20

In January 2016 Paul Kalkbrenner will be back on tour in several clubs and arenas with new material, as always with new arrangements and freshly interpreted. The tour is set to kick off at Munich’s Zenith (Lilienthalallee 29) on Wednesday, January 20.

In an interview with MDR Paul Kalkbrenner said that he sees himself more as a craftsman than an artist. You can definitely read his words as an understatement, although he has a point by saying that arts and handcraft have a very strong bond. It’s the a bit kooky artists, who want to divide the two, he says.

If you take a closer look at Kalkbrenner’s career, you will always find his handcrafted techno, both before and past “Berlin Calling”. That is something he trained for such a long time, at first as a fan, later as a producer and finally as one of the most important ambassadors of the genre, uniting credibility and massive success. His latest record “7” underlines exactly this by conquering the charts. Just listen to “Feed Your Head” (check out the video below), “Cloud Rider” and “Mothertrucker”.

Tickets for the show will exclusively be sold personalized. Personalized means, that every single ticket is bounded to one person who is mentioned by name on it. You can buy your ticket, priced at 39.60€ from MCT.
