BMI Regional to fly Southampton – Munich Twice a Day

British Midland Regional Limited (trading as bmi regional) is set to introduce two flights a day towards the Bavarian capital as of April 15, 2016. The airline flies with Embraer 135 (capacity - 37 passengers) and Embraer 145 (capacity – 49 passengers) aircraft and transports over 400,000 passengers a year.

From Monday to Friday the flights will depart from Southampton at 8am and 4:30pm, arriving into Munich at 10:45am and 7:15pm respectively. At the weekend the flights will leave Southampton at 9:10am, arriving into Munich at 11:55am.

Southampton Airport managing director Dave Lees said: "Scheduled air services to Munich have been requested by many businesses, so this is great news. Key industries that have links in our two regions include aerospace, advanced engineering and IT."
