Munich Placing Fewer Refugees than It Should

Munich Placing Fewer Refugees than It Should

By  Wednesday, 10.2.2016, 11:36    General News

As of December last year, the City of Munich was obliged to place 654 newly arriving refugees and migrants a week. By the end of last year, the city was already 2,578 people behind and the surrounding Upper Bavaria municipalities and cities had to jump in and place the people instead of the Bavarian capital, Sueddeutsche.de reports. The City failed to get some of the planned accommodation facilities ready on time.

At this point in time it is also not clear how many refugees and migrants there are within Munich. Exact numbers will be known by the end of this month.
