The Tollwood Festival invites music fans, culture enthusiasts and flâneurs to the Olympiapark Munich for 25 days of summer. In front of the colorful scenery of "Markt der Ideen" theatre and performance groups meet up and international live music is coming out of the tents. The festival will last from June 29 to July 24.

Tollwood-time is music-time. Tollwood presents an eternal variety of genres to the audience. Newcomers, chart toppers, legends, as well as German artists and international stars: They are all to be seen live on stage in the "Musik-Arena". The line-up for the Tollwood Sommerfestival 2016 includes: Beirut, ZZ Top, Deep Purple, Niedeckens BAP, the singer/songwriter duo Schmidbauer & Kälberer featuring Wolfgang Buck and the Austrian pop band Wanda. "Markt der Ideen" provides handicraft and international as well as certified organic food. It aims to inspire people to pause for a minute and enjoy. It includes a lot of locations, where the guests can spring right into action. Over 70 per cent of all events at the festival are free of charge.
