New Bavarian Fast Food: Weißwurst- Stangerl - Weißwurst To Go

Weisswurst (veal sausage) sausage meat inside a kind of soft pretzel bread, that’s the new and originally Bavarian fast food and a welcome alternative to hot-dogs, the Weißwurst- Stangerl. The invention comes from Albert Kohlpaintner, a butcher from Sulzbach am Inn near Passau who developed the W-Stangerl (copyright total-munich.com!) for a brewery from Passau. The W-Stangerl is currently only being sold at Kroiss butcheries in Passau. Some 350 are sold daily, and you can also buy them frozen.
