Munich’s BMW celebrates 100 years since the foundation of the company and is treating the city to a full festival to adequately celebrate the occasion. Below are the first details of the event which is set to take place September 9-11 at the Olympiapark. Daytime admission is free for all visitors.
Over an area of more than 110,000 square metres, the core BMW brand, the BMW M and BMW i sub-brands, and BMW Motorrad as well as BMW Lifestyle will be showcased like never before. This one-of-a-kind event will translate the emotional values and fascination of the brand into an intense visitor experience.
Visitors will enjoy exciting and entertaining experience zones during the festival weekend. They will have the chance to become actively involved or simply seek inspiration, gather information and enjoy the entertainment. The experience zones will be located among the roughly 300 historical and current BMW brand products on display. The two-and-a-half-day programme will provide entertaining diversions with plenty of surprises for all ages and interests.
The BMW Festival venue is the Olympic Park site, including the Olympic Stadium, the Olympic Hall and the Park harp parking area. It will also integrate the BMW Welt, the BMW Museum and the area surrounding the BMW “Vierzylinder” headquarter.

Friday, 9 September: 12 – 7pm
