One of Munich’s most prestigious movie theatres is turning 60 in 2016. The Gloria Palast (Palace). From its opening in 1956, its timeless elegance and unique character make it one of the most popular premiere cinemas in Munich. Countless German and international productions were celebrated their premieres here and the Gloria still enjoys great popularity in Munich, especially when the movie date is going to be something special. The company running the Gloria Palast has a tradition over a century long.

The cinema seats 240 people and offers excellent service, you can have dinner served at your seat and enjoy live transmissions from the MET, the Bolshoi, the Scala and the ROH. On Saturdays you can try the Gloria Lounge experience with film, finger food and drinks for €49 to €55.50. Take a look around the Gloria below.
