Kaffee und Kuchen is the German equivalent to the British tea, not by its ingredients, but for the long standing tradition. A tradition the Das Neue Kubitschek (The New Kubitschek) owner Armin Stegbauer is interpreting and redesigning in a colourful and creative manner, to say the least. In the video below you can see the former punker and Greenpeace activists (who these days sees himself as the “James Bond of bakeries in Munich”?!) explaining the concept of the cafe along with some creative forces which helped him in establishing Das Neue Kubitschek.
The video also shows the phenomenal cake creations of the cafe’s bakers and confectioners, the interior of the cafe, and you can also see the reasonable prices.
If you are looking for a place in Munich at which you can order cakes for special occasions, you don’t have to look any further.
