The Bar Centrale at the lively Ledererstraße is a Munich classic for a quick breakfast (daily omelette with fruit salad and yoghurt for €7.10), a snack or for lunch (daily changing fresh salads and pasta dishes, priced between €7.50 and €10.50) in the centre of the city. It’s also the place for a good Italian espresso or cappuccino.

Located directly in the center of the city, the Centrale isn’t only known for its outstanding baristas, but also for its distinctive Italian flair. The bar has been opened in 1999 and truly brings Italian flair into Monaco di Baviera (Italian for Munich) and Italians see Munich as the northernmost Italian city.

The Bar Centrale is divided into a bar and a separate lounge area, this venue offers each of its guests the perfect ambience for many occasions. In the back guests can sit in a quiet and casual lounge area and enjoy homemade pasta and other Italian delicacies. The historical bakery at the ground level is frequently reserved for smaller special events, such as birthdays.

The bar is run by Kull & Weinzerl GmbH & Co. KG, a partnership of Rudi Kull and Albert Weinzierl who also run Munich boutique hotels Cortina and Louis (at the Viktualienmarkt) and a number of other bars and restaurants in central Munich, such as Riva Tal, Riva Schwabing, brenner and others.
