The EssZimmer restaurant, located on the third floor of the BMW Welt is the youngest of the four Munich restaurants holding 2 Michelin Stars. The atmosphere in the restaurant is as cosy as it is luxurious, with an open fire, fine timbers, dark leather and warm colours. Guests here feel at home the moment they walk through the door. Thanks to top chef Bobby Bräuer, an exquisite flavour experience is guaranteed. The menu is founded on classic French cuisine with Mediterranean and regional inspiration, honest and authentic products, and a team that is familiar with craft and creativity. Less than two years after it opened and one year after it was awarded its first star, director of cuisine Bobby Bräuer and his team received another honour in 2014 – in the form of its second star in the Michelin Guide. With this award, the EssZimmer has now advanced to the level of Munich's top restaurants. The restaurant is owned by Munich delicatessen and gastronomy company Käfer GmbH & Co. Verwaltungs- und Beteiligungs KG.
