Munich’s Restaurant 181 is special in many ways, and that’s why we haven’t categorised it. It is located at metre 181 of Munich’s Olympic Tower and within 49 minutes it makes a 360 degree turn so you get to see the whole city during a dinner at the restaurant. It is a different and affordable place for a a special dinner with fantastic scenery and it also has one of the best kitchens of the city.

Since the Olympic Tower is a popular tourist spot, the restaurant, which used to hold 1 Michelin Star under popular German TV chef Otto Koch, it has adapted its offer to it. It opens at 11am with a kind of a “light” version of the menu, from 6pm on it offers its “Sunset Menu”, a three course menu priced somewhere around €60 with the elevator fee included. The “Feinschmecker (Gourmet) Menu” is on offer from 8:30pm and consists either of four or five courses which are priced from €75 - €100. You can have a look at all of the menus on the website of the restaurant.
