The Vecchia Lanterna (old lantern) Italian restaurant in Munich Lehel is another one of the 20 best Italian restaurants, according to German gourmet magazine Feinschmecker, in Germany which is located at the Bavarian capital. No wonder Munich is often referred to as the northernmost Italian city, one fourth of the best Italians are located here.

The restaurant is proud of its “authentica cucina italiana” and offers a daily changing menu which, unlike their website, isn’t translated into English. Besides the a la carte menu, there are three to five course menus on offer at prices ranging from €48.50 to €78.50 without drinks with either fish or meat as the main course. The restaurant has a nice terrace and you can book your table at the Vecchia-Lanterna online from here.
