Munich is one of the safest, greenest and most prosperous European cities. But those are not the only reasons families feel at home in the Bavarian capital, schooling in Munich is possible in English and other languages. Munich has a total of nearly 50 English-speaking nurseries and children's day-care centres as well as seven English-speaking schools (data from May 2014). Parents working for Munich-based multinational firms including BMW and Siemens send their children here, with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes among the attractions. The below fees for the Munich International School are from 2012, when they were published by telegraph.co.uk, and serve as an example for the fees in Munich.

“MIS has quite a complicated fee structure, with entrance fees of up to €5,500 (£4,663), a registration fee of €1,500 (£1,272) followed by a re-registration fee of €750 (£636) per year, technology fees of €350-€650 (£297-£551) annually and with yearly core tuition fees set at €12,150-€15,250 (£10,302-£12,930).”
