Munich’s City Beach is Open

Munich’s City Beach has opened on Saturday, July 9, 2016 to fabulous summer weather, the City of Munich’s official portal muenchen.de reports. The sand “beach” is located around the Vater Rhein Brunnen in trendy Munich district Au-Haidhausen and is open daily from 2pm until 11pm (if the weather is nice), except on Mondays, when it’s closed.

At the beach you can hang out in beach chairs, have reasonably priced drinks and cocktails and enjoy some excellent live performances of local and other musicians. Below is the line-up for the summer and some samples of the music that could await you at the beach.
